Forensic Talon®


The hand-held, computer forensic Talon® is a powerful forensic data capture system specifically designed for the requirements of law enforcement, military, corporate security, investigators, and auditors. The Talon® simultaneously images and verifies data at up to 4 GB/min. The handheld system captures IDE/UDMA/SATA drives, and can capture SCSI drives via USB cable. Capture directly from desktop/laptop PCs and MAC computers (via PC interface) using the Forensic cloning software included with the Talon. Optional adapters are available for capture from 1.8”, 2.5”, and compact flash drives.

With DD imaging and MD5 or SHA-256 authentication, the Talon® is the industry’s most powerful and versatile data capturing system. The user may select varying "DD" image sizes, such as 650 MB, 2 GB, and 4 GB. These segments can be quickly placed on other media such as CD or DVD for further analysis.

Advanced Keyword Search
Search for hundreds of words while capturing at full speed. Store multiple groups of pre-defined keyword lists on compact flash. Retrieve search results directly to Windows. Search for suspect names, phone numbers, and any other incriminating information. Add new words while in the field, using the built-in keypad.

The Logicube Talon includes a 64MB Compact Flash drive. This drive can be used for software loading, storing Keyword Search lists and storing session reports. The CF card is inserted via a slot at the bottom of the unit and can be connected to Windows through the USB port.

    Create DD Images on-the-fly
    In addition to a native capture, the Forensic Talon capturing system allows users to create DD images at various sizes; 650 MB, 2 GB & 4GB. These images are then immediately ready for archival and/or analysis.     		Capture via USB or FireWire
    Capture directly from a desktop/laptop and from MAC computers (via PC interface) with the Forensic USB/FireWire Cloning Software. Software CD-ROM is included with the Forensic Talon or Forensic Dossier data capture solution.
    One-year Standard Warranty
