The Forensic MD5 system is designed specifically for the requirements of law enforcement, corporate security, and cybercrime investigation of forensic computer data. This hand-held IDE hard disk drive data recovery system is ideal for fast disk drive data capture. Using its built-in MD-5 engine, the MD5 allows for imaging speeds up to 3.3 GB/min. The system’s non-tampering drive capture ensures bit-for-bit accuracy, guaranteeing zero chance of alteration of the suspect and evidence drives. With it's lightweight portability, rugged construction and field tested capabilities, the MD5 is simply the best forensic hard disk data recovery system for law enforcement, corporate security, and cybercrime investigation and prosecution.

The image data capture is compatible, and may be analyzed with FTK, Encase, or ILOOK. This unidirectional, forensically sound, cloning tool is known for its duplication accuracy and legal reliability.

	A Variety of Connectivity Options The product may be connected in a vairiety of ways; direct to IDE cable interface, or through the USB port.		CloneCard™ Pro This is a PCMCIA adapter that provides a fast connection between a notebook PC and the Logicube Echo Plus, SuperSonix, the Sonix, the Forensic Quest and the Forensic Talon and Forensic Dossier.

	Advanced Keyword Search Search for hundreds of words while capturing at full speed. Store multiple groups of pre-defined keyword lists on compact flash. Retrieve search results directly to Windows. Search for suspect names, phone numbers, and any other incriminating information. Add new words while in the field, using the built-in keypad.		Create DD Images In addition to a native capture, the Forensic Quest capturing system allows users to create DD images at various sizes; 650 MB, 2 GB & 4GB. These images are then immediately ready for archival and analysis.

	MD5 Verification Unit computes a complete MD5, 128 bit authentication of source and destination drives before and after capture to ensure that: Source drive has not been changed Source and destination drive match after capture. Source and destination do no match prior to capture. MD5 signatures appear on the printed report.		On-Site Reporting The Talon systems include a compact flash card to maintain a detailed chain of evidence. The report catalogs the source (suspect's drive) and destination drive, the make, model and size of of both drives being used in the operation, and a statement documenting the mode of copy, how many sectors copied and source & destination checksums. These criteria ensure the legal integrity of the captured drive image for successful law enforcement, corporate security, and cyber crime prosecution.

	Data Capturing Speed Data Capturing speeds may reach 3 GB/min. This speed is maintained while creating DD images.		Extended Length Cables Ability to extend the standard distance between the drive and the host; up to 18”.
