The Forensic Quest® is a feature packed hand-held forensic data capture device perfect for in-the-field or in-the-lab hard drive data acquisition and verification.This powerful solution provides unmatched performance at a cost-effective price point.

The sleek compact design features a user friendly touch screen, choice of SHA-256 or MD5 authentication, DD imaging, native write-protect and built-in USB connectivity. The Forensic Quest also supports captures from DCO and HPA protected areas of the source drive. Built-in support for SATA/IDE drives is featured and support for both SCSI and SAS hard drives is available with optional adapters.

This one-to-one hard drive data capture solution also features the convenience of support for one-to-two hard drive capture with an optional adapter.

A Wipe feature allows the user to wipe destination drives to DoD Wipe specifications and a "save configuration" setting allows users the option to save frequently used capture settings.

Optional adapters for CompactFlash, 2.5” and 1.8” drives and optional cables for both eSATA and MicroSATA drives are available.

The intelligent Quest is the perfect solution for the demanding requirements of law enforcement, military, corporate security and public and private investigators.

Forensic USB/FireWire Cloning Software
The Logicube Forensic USB/FireWire Cloning Software is compatible with the Forensic Talon, Forensic Quest and Forensic Dossier data capture solutions. The software allows you to capture data and manage drives directly via the USB or FireWire (400/200/100) (Firewire is only available on the Dossier) ports of a desktop/laptop PC. The Forensic USB/FireWire Cloning Software also provides the ability to capture from Apple MAC computers using a PC interface. This software allows you to perform a native (Mirror) capture, capture DD images, compute an MD5 Hash on the entire source or destination drive or on each individual DD image. Expected capture speeds are up to 1.4GB/min with verify and up to 1.8GB/min without verify. Speeds will vary depending on the USB and FireWire hardware and the processor speed of the PC. USB 1.x, 2.0 and FireWire 1394 are supported.
High-Speed USB Drive Acquisition Software Key Code (optional)

Optional support for USB 2.0 acquisition speeds (up to 2GB/min) of USB enclosures, USB thumb/flash drives. Requires the purchase of a software key code to activate this feature on the Forensic Dossier, Forensic Quest or SuperSonix and either the SCSI ( with the Forensic Quest or Forensic Dossier) or SAS adapter (with the Forensic Dossier, Forensic Quest and SuperSonix) for USB plug-in.
